We have seen the need for Same Day Service after regular business hours and on weekends too. Therefore, we are now on call 24/7. This service is usually used for special deliveries and Emergencies. We have received calls from customers who have left a cell phone, luggage etc. at a hotel or business and need it bringing to them ASAP. Sometimes a customers truck or car is broken down and needs a part picking up in one location and delivering to a repair shop ASAP, so that the driver can get back on the road quickly. If it is important to the customer, then we are willing to go that extra mile for them.
A non-refundable down payment is needed in advance ($50) before we send a driver out. (Visa or email transfer). This is to avoid cancelled calls and unrecoverable expenses.
The price for this service varies since we cover all of Eastern Ontario and there are so many combinations of Pick-up and Delivery locations. The price is based on the fact that you are hiring a car and driver at overtime rates for your exclusive use to deliver/pick-up your individual item and also the expense/time of the whole round trip from our home base of Kemptville.
Our approximate cost is based on the total time it takes for this “Round trip” multiplied by the hourly rate shown below plus our usual fuel surcharge (currently 12%) + HST. A minimum charge will apply ($80). The hourly rates for 24/7 exclusive delivery outside of regular hours are as follows…
